Job Overview

Tactical Security Officer – Armed at Garda World in Clearwater, FL. Full‑time, 41.25 hours per shift (Mon‑Fri 3:30‑11:45).

• Patrol sensitive areas to detect suspicious activity.
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas.
• React quickly to threats or incidents.
• Check alarm and camera functionality.
• Document incidents and actions taken.
• Respond to alarms and conduct on‑site checks.
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents.
• Ensure safety and protection of individuals and property.

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Successful completion of extensive screening.
• First aid certification a plus.
• Ability to stand and walk for entire shift.
• Minimum 6 months of armed corrections experience (military or law enforcement).
• Must hold D and G license.
