Maintenance Technician III

• The primary duties are the maintenance and improvement of CHDC properties to ensure safety and appearance.
• Complete repairs in vacant apartments, residential apartments, and common areas.
• Work under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor and the oversight of the Capital Maintenance Officer.
• Occasional emergency on-call assistance as needed.

• High school diploma or GED certificate.
• Three to five years experience in various trades including carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, appliances and/or electrical maintenance and repair, elevator systems, and painting.
• EPA Certification and valid Florida Driver's License.
• Computer proficiency in Windows operating system and MS Office software.
• Necessary competencies: safety, fire prevention, first aid techniques; measurement and mathematical calculations; ability to operate a motor vehicle; ability to work in a variety of conditions and locations including confined areas, rooftops, underground spaces, etc.; lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds; HVAC experience (required).

Work setting is in-person at CHDC properties in Clearwater, Florida.

HVAC: 1 year (Preferred)
