DoD Skillbridge Welding Program (Skillbridge eligible candidates only)

As a Skillbridge Welding Intern at Honeywell, you will work on a team of welders to ensure quality and efficiency of welding operations at the Port Manatee/Palmetto, FL location. You will report directly to our Welding Supervisor, develop your welding capabilities, and contribute to the success of our welding operations.

• Work on a team of welders and conduct welding operations
• Ensure all welds meet quality standards and specifications
• Learn and develop welding skills and techniques
• Collaborate with other departments on welding activities
• Maintain welding equipment and ensure proper safety procedures are followed

• Been enrolled and approved for the DoD Skillbridge Program
• Knowledge of basic welding principles
• Proven ability to effectively work on a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Capability to work effectively in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment

• Technical certification in welding or a related field
• Willingness to train and develop as a welder
• Knowledge of welding standards and best practices
• Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities
