Responsible for testing and inspection of fire protection systems (sprinkler & alarm), looking for deficiencies, troubleshooting existing conditions, reading and interpreting blueprints and manuals consistent with experience level, and writing detailed reports regarding inspection deficiencies.

• Perform routine inspections, testing, servicing, installing and preventative maintenance.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications and fire codes.
• Complete service documentation detailing findings as needed.
• Coordinate between inspection deficiencies and required service to correct the findings.
• Communicate with Service Manager and/or Inspections Coordinator on inspection or project delays, requirements, and general status to ensure the customer receives the work per proposed scope.

High School Diploma or GED; 2‑3 years experience inspecting various types of fire sprinkler and alarm systems; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge and understanding of NFPA codes and standards for inspection, testing and installation; NICET II or III Certification, Backflow Certification preferred.
