- Perform routine inspections, testing, and maintenance of fire alarm systems, fire extinguishers, emergency lighting, and other life safety equipment.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose faults or issues with life safety systems and provide timely repairs.
- Ensure all systems comply with local codes and regulations (NFPA, OSHA, etc.).
- Provide accurate and timely documentation of services rendered, including inspection reports and service records.
- Assist in system installations as needed.
- Work closely with clients to provide exceptional customer service and educate them on the functionality and maintenance of their life safety systems.
- Respond to emergency service calls in a timely manner.
- Maintain inventory of tools, parts, and equipment necessary to perform job functions.
- Proficient low voltage commercial electrician
- FASA/BASA and NICET 1 Certified
- Capable of reading blueprints and schematics
- Able to plan and lay out projects.
- Able to install conduit, wire, Fire Alarm and low voltage electrical devices and equipment
- Ability to pass background and Drug Screening.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Strong knowledge of fire alarm, life safety systems, and building codes.
- Experience with testing, repairing, and troubleshooting fire alarm systems, sprinklers, and emergency lighting.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
