Summary:
This position is responsible for overseeing and providing operational support to airport ground operations/customer service agents consistent with company policy and federal and state regulations. Responsibilities include ground operations, aircraft cleaning, security, operations, and commissary duties as required.
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 1 year of customer service experience (airline industry experience preferred)
- Authorized to work in the United States under the Immigration Act of 1986
- Passes a criminal background check
- Knowledge of Allegiant Customer Service and Ground Operations procedures
- Basic computer skills and general knowledge of office equipment
- People‑oriented, highly motivated, positive and friendly attitude
- Professional and courteous communication with internal and external customers
- Adherence to dress code policy and well‑groomed appearance
- Ability to work efficiently under time constraints
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Minimum age 18 and possession of a valid driver’s license
- Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
- Coordinate and direct duties and activities of Customer Service/Ground Operations agents
- Interface with supervisors, leads, and all departments to ensure service issues are addressed and corrected
- Ensure compliance with all company safety rules, including dangerous goods handling and awareness
- Report safety hazards and incidents to supervisor
- Perform functions of a Customer Service/Ground Operations agent, including flexible hours and irregular operations
- Assign employees to specific job functions as needed
- Provide information on arrival and departure times, boarding procedures, carry‑on regulations, and seating arrangements
- Ensure FAA, Allegiant Air, and airport regulations are followed
- Assist customers with special needs, such as boarding assistance
- Load and unload baggage and co‑mail of various weight and dimensions to and from aircraft and applicable airport baggage areas
- Marshal plane and push back aircraft
- Operate heavy, motorized machinery and equipment (e.g., tugs, tractors, belt loaders, bag carts, push‑back tractors, deicers)
- Lead by example and motivate team members
- Coordinate, provide training and ensure training requirements are met for all employees (new hires, recurrent, supplemental and local training issues)
- Perform any other duties as assigned

- Required to stand, sit, talk, hear, see, reach, stoop, kneel, climb and use hands and fingers to operate various tools and equipment (hand trucks, carts, ramps, tugs, etc.)
- May be required to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 300 lbs.
- May be required to work various shifts/days in a 24‑hour situation
- Regular attendance is required
- Exposure to heights, small spaces, extreme noise, temperature, wind, and light fluctuations
- Ability to work in confined areas and crawl in and out of small spaces for extended periods of time
- Ability to wear personal protective gear; some travel may be required
