Student Outreach Officer (Contract)

$50/hour
12-month Contract (Aug 2026 – Aug 2027)
6 hours/visit, 2–3 days/week
10:00am–4:00pm or 10:30am–4:30pm

• Diploma/Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, Education, or related field.
• Experience in youth work, case management, or school support is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently, collaboratively, and maintain confidentiality.

• Conduct home visits and outreach to students with prolonged or irregular school attendance.
• Build positive relationships with students, parents, and caregivers to support school engagement.
• Support students’ reintegration into school through tailored engagement and transition plans.
• Work closely with teachers, counsellors, and external agencies on case management.
• Maintain accurate case documentation and student progress records.
• Facilitate student engagement activities and targeted intervention programmes.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate programmes to improve attendance and student participation.
