Customer Support Manager II

Responsible for customer communication, relationships, and account transactional management for OEM production programs. Serves as the primary link between the customer and the Product Line Manager to ensure communication of status and potential problem areas while advising on how to mitigate those concerns.

Responsibilities
  • Primary point of contact with customers, voice of the customer within the organization.
  • Manages relationships with the customer base, fostering an environment where complex problems are solved with trust and respect.
  • Establish and maintain contractual adherence & commercial relationships, communicating and driving requirement adherence.
  • Accountable for quality and delivery related to assigned customer base and agreed production purchase orders.
  • Assist in developing shop priorities based on customer requirements by coordinating with the planning department.
  • Track, monitor, and report program performance using account management tools.
  • Develop and execute an effective strategic plan to manage customer relationships.
  • Accurately identify customer demand for long‑term forecasting and SIOP business planning.
  • Execute ERP transactional activity (order entry, packing slip generation, etc.) for assigned customers.
  • Furnish advice, counsel, and support to departments in relation to program management.
  • Maintain a positive outlook and contribute to team effort.
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned to ensure customer needs are met.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5–7 years working in a customer‑facing role with understanding of ERP transactional process in a production environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, or related field. PMP certification a plus.
  • Physical limitation: may require sitting or standing up to 8 hours per day, writing, and occasional business travel.
  • Can meet ITAR requirements.
  • Strong business/contracts acumen.
  • Professionalism in dealing with adverse situations.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and PowerPoint communication skills.
  • Data skills – Excel data analytics, MS Project.
  • Motivating and developing employees.
  • Self‑direction and strong presentation skills.
  • Microsoft Office products proficiency.
  • ERP system understanding.
  • Ability to read and write English.

Location:

Clemmons, NC

Salary: $65,000 - $85,000

Full‑time, Seasonal, Remote
