Nurse Practitioner - PMHNP

Overview

We are seeking compassionate and positive Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide therapeutic support for patient with mental health, behavioral health, and substance abuse issues.

The PMHNP will work collaboratively with our providers and therapy team in our outpatient settings, providing psychiatric services and care to the adult population, including clinical diagnosis, intervention planning, medication management and discharge planning.

The position is Full-Time.

• Providing psychiatric assessment and clinical
• Coordinating care with Counselors for patient care
• Recommending treatment plan and following treatment outcomes
• Active participation in case conferences and related team-based meetings
• Prescribing psychotropic / controlled Substances medication as appropriate for client care
• Working with the clinical staff towards the integration of patient health with behavioral health
• Providing client education on behavioral health issues and strategies for recovery
• TMS, Ketamine / Esketamine Therapy

• Nurse Practitioner degree. A current license to practice as a NP in North Carolina State.
• Licensed by the NC Medical or Nurse Board of Examiners and/or the ability to obtain your NC Medical License and DEA License.
• If do not have it yet, you will commit to apply and obtain a Mental Health certification / PMHNP to your license within 2 years of employment with us
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent oral and written communications skills
• Familiarity with EMR programs
• Confidence to work independently
• Willingness to take over existing patients as well as take on new patients
