Overview

Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Core Life—A Partner of Novant Health. Join us at Novant Health, in partnership with Core Life, delivering integrated care for obesity and chronic illnesses through medical, nutritional, behavioral, and exercise services. As a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Therapist, your role is to contribute to this integrated care model and address obesity as a disease.

• Lead a care team (e.g., dietitian, exercise trainer, medical providers) in an integrated model.
• Provide evidence-based mental health services aligned with Novant Health and Core Life leadership productivity standards.
• Engage patients in multidisciplinary services and address problems/conditions associated with obesity.

• Education:
  
  Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
• Experience:
  
  One to three years in a physician practice setting (preferred).
• Licensure/Certification:
  Licensed Clinical Mental Health Clinician, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or Licensed Marriage and Family Counselor.
• Team members in behavioral health outpatient clinics must complete NEC
  0170 De-escalation Techniques and Effective Communication Strategies within 3 months of hire.

  Proficiency with computers; ability to care for Behavioral Health Age Specific populations.
