Headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, Hayward also has facilities in Tennessee, Arizona, and Rhode Island as well as Canada, Spain, France, Australia, and China. This position is based in Clemmons, NC.
Position Overview:
Support production equipment and processes to ensure highest level of equipment uptime, efficiency, and quality.
Responsibilities
* Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions
* Perform routine & planned PM activities on designated production equipment
* Coordinate with and assist contract service providers in completing complex machine repairs and startups
* Work cross functionally with other maintenance personnel and departments to support production needs
* Perform all duties as assigned in compliance with company safety standards
Qualifications
* Ability to operate forklift, cranes, power tools, and other handtools in support of troubleshooting and repair functions
* Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, bills of materials, and other equipment related documentation
* Ability to organize, plan, and prioritize work with minimal supervision
* Ability to clearly communicate, both written and verbally, details of a technical nature related to equipment issues and repair needs
* Ability to work in a diverse team oriented environment
Education and Experience:
Associate's Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year or technical school and two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
