Youth Leadership Academy or Tall Pines STEM Academy seeks to accomplish the mission and hires qualified, substitute teachers to ensure the best learning environment for all students. This position will assist the primary teacher in classroom activities and administer program lessons in their absence. Other duties as assigned.
Job Duties- 75% - Essential - Leads standards-based instruction in focus content area. Observes group activities; provides input for better structure of activities. Administers program instructions. Implements curriculum.
- 15% - Essential - Provides comfortable and supporting learning environment for students.
- 10% - Essential - Maintains attendance and grades.
- Education - High School or Equivalent
- Education - 1st Bachelor's Degree - Education or related field
Firm Job Knowledge - Firm working knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures and ability to use in varied situations
Supervisory ResponsibilitiesNo Supervisory Duties - Not responsible for supervising employees.
Budgetary ResponsibilitiesNo Budget Responsibilities - No fiscal responsibility for the department's budget.

Standard Hrs: 16
Compensation InformationBand: 02 ($ 23,718.00 - $ 43,886.00)
Salary is dependent upon several factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's previous experience, knowledge, skills and performance in accordance with Clemson's compensation guidelines.
Essential Personnel LevelNormal Operations
Required to follow emergency facility closure directives, and not normally expected work on-site during emergency situations.
