This Assistant Professor position will be integrated into the Department of Psychology, the Institute for Engaged Aging (IEA - https://(Use the "Apply for this Job" box below).), and the South Carolina Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center (SC-ADRC - https://). The role supports multiple funded research studies, provides research proposals, develops infrastructure for data management and analytics across the IEA, and mentors trainees. Expertise in data analytics is essential with priority areas including randomized controlled trials, digital biomarkers, or intensive longitudinal data analysis.

Persons with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias (ADRD) expertise are strongly desired. The ideal candidate has a strong research orientation with potential for extramural support and a commitment to excellence in graduate and undergraduate education.

• PhD in Psychology or related field
• Demonstrated expertise in data analytics (randomized controlled trials, digital biomarkers, or intensive longitudinal data analysis)
• Strong record of research with potential for extramural funding
• Commitment to graduate and undergraduate teaching excellence
• Desirable:
  Experience with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias (ADRD)
