The RoleAs a Learning Support Assistant, you will work alongside teachers and support staff to help pupils access learning and achieve their full potential. You may provide support on a 1:1 basis, work with small intervention groups, or assist within the classroom to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about making a difference and supporting students both academically and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities- Provide classroom support to pupils across a range of subjects.
- Deliver 1:1 support for students with SEND and additional learning needs.
- Support children with Autism, ADHD, SEMH and communication difficulties.
- Assist with learning interventions and academic progress.
- Encourage positive behaviour and student engagement.
- Help pupils build confidence, independence and social skills.
- Work closely with teachers, SENCOs and pastoral staff.
- Support the creation of a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.

Experience supporting children with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, behavioural needs, speech and language difficulties, or other Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) is highly desirable but not essential.
