Affinity Partnerships are looking for Primary Supply Teachers to work in schools across Somerset!
We are working with a range of primary schools and academy trusts throughout Somerset, offering flexible teaching opportunities for passionate and dedicated educators. Whether you're looking for a few days' work each week to fit around existing commitments or seeking a full-time role, we have opportunities to suit your needs.
This is an excellent opportunity for qualified teachers who enjoy working in different school environments, building experience, and making a positive impact on children's learning and development.
The RoleThe ideal candidate will be confident teaching across the Primary age range and committed to delivering engaging, high-quality lessons that inspire pupils to achieve their best.
Successful applicants will:- Have a sound understanding of the Primary curriculum
- Be confident teaching across EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons that support pupil progress
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including those with additional needs
- Be able to work collaboratively with school staff while demonstrating initiative
- Have a positive attitude, flexibility, and excellent classroom management skills
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Experience teaching within UK primary schools
- Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- A dedicated consultant to support you throughout your journey
- Access to a variety of schools and academy trusts across Somerset
- Flexible work to suit your availability £200 for any successful referral of teachers and £100 for teaching assistants
- Free, up-to-date safeguarding training
- Ongoing CPD opportunities and training workshops
- The option of working under a PAYE or umbrella pay scheme
