Overview
Senior Quality Engineer – Clevedon, North Somerset. Salary: £40,000 - £47,000 per annum + 9 day working fortnight, 37 hours per week, 33 days holiday, onsite parking.
Role & Responsibilities- Ensuring compliance with quality standards ISO
9001, ISO
14001 in line with product and service standards - Root cause analysis, creating non-conformance reports, implementing corrective actions
- Use of process improvement tools – 5S, 5Y, 8D
- Liaising with customers regarding problems and monitoring agreed corrective actions
- Maintaining quality documentation, utilisation of QMS systems
- Internal and external audit management
- Working knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC
- Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering Degree
- Proven experience working within manufacturing environments
- Working knowledge of ISO
9001, ISO
4001 standards - Knowledge of CMMs, GD&T
- 9 Day working fortnight, 37hrs a week, 33 days holiday, onsite parking
