Senior Design Engineer

Overview

Senior Electronics Design Engineer based in Clevedon, Somerset. Salary £50,000 - £55,000 plus hybrid working, bonus, private healthcare, 33 days holiday and additional benefits. Hybrid arrangement: 2 days per week from home.

• Design and support analogue and digital power and control circuits across the full product lifecycle.
• Schematic capture, PCB layout design, prototyping, testing and validation.
• Translate technical and commercial requirements into robust, manufacturable design solutions.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.
• Produce comprehensive technical documentation.
• Present designs at formal review stages.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant safety, regulatory and quality standards.

• Degree in Power Electronics, Embedded Electronics or Embedded Systems.
• Proven experience in hardware system design.
• Proficient in schematic capture and PCB layout using OrCAD.
• Skilled in the use of electrical test and measurement equipment.
