Controls Engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Controls Engineer to join an established engineering team, developing PLC and HMI control software for advanced engineering products. You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing and supporting control solutions throughout the product lifecycle, working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver high-quality automation systems.

Key Responsibilities Develop PLC and HMI software in line with functional specifications Design, test and validate control software solutions Produce technical documentation and support release processes Troubleshoot software issues and support manufacturing and service teams Contribute to project planning, risk management and continuous improvement About You We are looking for a Controls Engineer with experience in automation, PLC programming and industrial control systems.

Experience with HMI programming and technical documentation Ability to read electrical schematics and P& Desirable experience:
Modbus TCP and EtherCAT communication protocols PID control loops Functional safety, HAZOP or FMEA techniques Manufacturing, automation or industrial control experience Location Based in Clevedon, North Somerset, this is an on-site role working with experienced engineering teams on innovative control solutions. Occasional travel to customer sites may be required.
