An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join a world-leading engineering and manufacturing business based in Clevedon, Bristol
. Working within a multi-disciplinary engineering team, you will play a key role in the design and development of innovative, high-technology products used across semiconductor, scientific, pharmaceutical, and industrial markets.

The RoleReporting to a Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and development of electrical modules and sub-assemblies, supporting new product introduction from concept through to manufacture.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop electrical modules and sub-assemblies for new products.
- Deliver engineering solutions in line with project milestones, quality standards, and cost targets.
- Verify designs through calculations, analysis, and testing.
- Produce and maintain detailed engineering documentation including drawings, BOMs, models, and test data.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant engineering standards and product development processes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to support successful product development.
- Support continuous improvement and Design for Manufacture (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) initiatives.
You’ll be a motivated electrical engineer with experience in product development and a passion for delivering high-quality engineering solutions.
- Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Industrial experience within product development or design engineering.
- Knowledge of Design for Manufacture (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA).
- Experience with engineering materials and manufacturing techniques.
- 2D and 3D CAD experience (CATIA, AutoCAD, Visio or similar).
- Understanding of Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and electrical/system schematics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Able to deliver projects to challenging timescales.
- Salary up to £58,000 per annum
