Pay & Benefits
- Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 basic per annum (tailored directly to your technical experience and skill level)
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (100% WEEKDAYS ONLY with strictly zero weekend shifts required!)

Role OverviewSeeking a skilled Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic to join our busy workshop team in Clevedon. You will be responsible for carrying out routine servicing, vehicle safety health checks, diagnostic troubleshooting using modern diagnostic software, and general mechanical repairs across a wide variety of customer vehicles to high industry standards.
Requirements- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or City & Guilds / time-served equivalent) with proven hands-on workshop experience
- Solid foundational knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, routine maintenance, and mechanical repair
- Valid DVSA MOT Smart Card or F-Gas certification is advantageous, but not essential
- Full UK driving licence & own hand tools
- Base: Clevedon, North Somerset, BS21 (Free secure on-site staff parking)
- Road Links: Strategic position directly served by the M5 (J20) motorway corridor and key local routes like the B3130, offering fast commutes across Somerset and Bristol
- Public Transport: Excellent connections via Yatton and Nailsea & Backwell mainline railway stations alongside regular regional bus routes
- Commutable From: Portishead, Weston-super-Mare, Nailsea, Yatton, Bristol, Avonmouth, and surrounding local areas
