Quality Engineer (Automotive / Manufacturing)
Weston-super-Mare 45,000 - 48,000 DOE Permanent Every Other Friday Off

Bam Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting for a Quality Engineer on behalf of a well-established automotive manufacturing business based in Weston-super-Mare.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking Quality team, supporting production and ensuring the highest standards of quality, compliance, and continuous improvement.

What's on Offer:

• Salary 45,000 - 48,000 (depending on experience)
• Permanent, full-time position
• Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm
• Every other Friday off

The Role:

• Support the QHSE Compliance Manager in maintaining IATF
  16949, ISO
  9001 and ISO
  14001 standards.
• Investigate quality concerns and complete customer reports using 8D methodology.
• Provide hands-on quality support to production teams.
• Liaise with customers and suppliers to resolve quality issues and drive corrective actions.
• Maintain quality documentation and inspection records.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives across quality processes.

About You:

• Previous experience in a Quality Engineer or Manufacturing Quality role.
• Background within Automotive, Aerospace or another regulated manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of quality tools including APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, Control Plans and 8D.
• Experience interpreting engineering drawings, GD&T and inspection techniques (CMM experience desirable).
• Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• IATF
  16949 Lead Auditor training would be advantageous but is not essential.
