Flavour Lab Technician

I’m currently recruiting for a Flavour Laboratory Technician to join a growing food manufacturing business in North Somerset.

This is a hands‑on opportunity within an R&D laboratory
, supporting the preparation and development of flavour samples for customers across the UK and European food markets.

• Preparing and compounding flavour samples
• Managing raw materials and laboratory consumables
• Preparing labels and documentation for sample despatch
• Working to GMP, quality and safety standards
• Supporting the wider R&D team in a fast‑paced environment

• Laboratory, kitchen, food manufacturing or similar practical experience
• Strong attention to detail and organisation
• Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word and Excel
• A flexible, proactive approach
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK

• Strong teamwork and collaboration
• Confidence in a practical working environment
• Ownership and accountability for their work
• Excellent organisation and time management
• A positive, hands‑on approach

Location: Somerset
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday
