Position Summary Information
Responsibilities
The Regional Admissions Recruiter is responsible for recruiting qualified domestic students throughout Tennessee, Arkansas, and North Louisiana while supporting the University’s enrollment goals. This position works under the supervision of the Associate Director of First Year and Campus Tours and performs recruitment duties both regionally and on campus. Key responsibilities include developing recruitment strategies for the assigned territory, attending college fairs and school visits, meeting with prospective students, families, and counselors, assisting students throughout the admissions and enrollment process, and building strong relationships with high schools, community colleges, and community partners.
Performance will be evaluated through regular recruitment tracking, weekly productivity reports, and monthly reviews.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required; at least one year of customer service, recruitment, admissions, marketing, or sales experience preferred. The successful candidate must demonstrate strong communication and public speaking skills, excellent organizational and time management abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while maintaining effective collaboration with the Admissions team. The position requires a high level of initiative, professionalism, and self-motivation, along with the ability to manage an assigned recruitment territory and build relationships with students and educational partners.
Evening and weekend work, frequent regional travel, and occasional overnight travel are required. A valid driver’s license is required.
Salary Commensurate with experience, qualifications, and university’s resources.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor Degree from an accredited institution and valid driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree and 1 year customer service experience.
