Tax Preparer

Description

We are looking for an experienced Tax Preparer to join our team in Parma, Ohio. In this role, you will handle individual tax returns and related administrative tasks while providing excellent service to clients. This is a part time contract position offering flexibility in scheduling and an opportunity to work in a detail-oriented, client-focused environment.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare individual tax returns accurately and efficiently.

- Assist clients in a live setting while completing their tax filings.

- Conduct administrative duties related to tax preparation as needed.

- Ensure compliance with all applicable tax regulations and guidelines.

- Provide clear explanations and guidance to clients regarding their tax returns.

- Manage confidential client information with discretion and a focus on accuracy.

- Collaborate with team members to resolve complex tax-related issues.

- Stay updated on current tax laws and changes to ensure accuracy in filings.

Requirements

- Prior experience in tax preparation, including live client interactions, is preferred.

- Certification in tax preparation is acceptable; additional experience is a plus.

- Strong understanding of individual tax return processes and regulations.

- Ability to handle sensitive client information with integrity.

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Effective communication skills to explain tax-related concepts to clients.
