We are partnering with a growing real estate organization in Cleveland to hire a Senior Property Accountant who is ready to step into an Accounting Manager role over time. This position is designed for someone with strong property accounting experience who seeks increased ownership, leadership exposure, and a clear path to managing people and processes.

This role offers hands‑on responsibility today with the opportunity to grow into broader management and leadership as the business continues to scale.

• Own day‑to‑day property accounting for residential, commercial, or mixed portfolios
• Prepare and review monthly financial statements with a strong focus on accuracy and timeliness
• Work closely with operations and leadership to support budgeting, forecasting, and decision‑making
• Apply solid accounting principles and internal controls across property‑level reporting
• Utilize property management systems such as Yardi, MRI, or similar platforms
• Assist with process improvements and increasing efficiency as the team grows
• Gradually take on leadership responsibilities, including mentoring junior staff and supporting close processes

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3+ years of property accounting experience (residential, commercial, or mixed portfolios)
• Experience using property management systems
• Strong financial statement preparation and review skills
