We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to oversee tax compliance, client engagements, project management, and staff development.
Responsibilities
- Review individual, business, trust, corporate, and partnership tax returns.
- Identify and resolve tax issues and provide tax planning recommendations.
- Manage multiple engagements, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned engagements.
- Coordinate and delegate work to staff and review their deliverables.
- Maintain strong professional relationships with clients.
- Stay current with tax laws, regulations, and industry developments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- CPA or EA license required.
- 6–8+ years of tax compliance experience, including individual and business taxation.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state taxation.
- Experience with corporate, partnership, and trust taxation preferred.
- Excellent communication, organizational, leadership, and tax research skills.
