Part-Time Day Care

Overview

A family in the Cleveland area (44111) is looking for care for three children, ages infant, one, and three. Care is needed three days a week from 8:30am–4:30pm. The family is flexible on the three days. This position includes meal prep, light housekeeping, and planning educational activities. We are looking for a nanny who can help with the children's growth and development and be an integral part of their milestones.

The groundwork for language and motor skills is important at this time for the infant.

• Maintain daily routines and create a safe, nurturing environment for the children.
• Engage in language and motor development activities for the infant, including talking aloud, reading, playing music, floor time, and interacting with the child.
• Plan and participate in age-appropriate activities (arts and crafts, sports, legos, outdoor play, reading, imaginative play).
• Prepare snacks or simple meals and use activities to teach basic math skills.
• Provide light housekeeping related to the children and support meal preparation as part of daily tasks.
• Communicate effectively with a staffing supervisor and be reliable and responsive.

• Experience working with children, paid or unpaid, with at least 2 references speaking to childcare work.
• Reliable transportation and a cell phone.
• Willingness and ability to travel from the family’s home to school and sports activities.
• Commitment to open communication and a positive, welcoming demeanor.
