* Job Description*
- Assist in the planning and scheduling of all project phases, ensuring alignment with established deadlines and project goals.
- Work closely with the Project Manager to negotiate contracts with architects, vendors, contractors, and other key stakeholders.
- Support the process of securing building permits and licenses, as well as coordinating the delivery of materials and equipment to job sites.
- Monitor construction progress, ensuring productivity, adherence to safety regulations, and compliance with building codes.
- Participate in and help lead project progress meetings with Superintendents and Subcontractors to review safety, quality control, project timelines, and material deliveries.
- Collaborate with the project team to ensure that personnel, material, and equipment resources meet project requirements and timelines.
- Foster strong working relationships with Project Managers, Superintendents, Subcontractors, and Clients to ensure a cooperative, team-oriented approach to project execution.
* Ideal Candidate*
- 3+ years of experience in construction, with a focus on multifamily or commercial projects.
- Prior experience in a Project Management or Assistant Project Manager role is preferred.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to assist in managing projects from start to finish.
- A proactive, detail-oriented approach to ensuring project success.
- Familiarity with construction software and technology, including scheduling and project management tools.
