The Construction Safety Representative will provide onsite safety oversight for roofing operations while serving as the General Contractor's field safety representative, monitoring subcontractor activities and ensuring project safety requirements are maintained.
Required Qualifications- OSHA 30 Construction Certification
- Minimum 3+ Years of Construction Safety Experience
- Current First Aid / CPR / AED Certification
- Roofing Construction Experience
- Residential or Commercial Roofing Experience
- Fall Protection Experience
- Aerial Lift & MEWP Experience
- CHST, ASP, CSP, STSC, or Other BCSP Credential
- General Contractor Safety Experience
- Provide daily field safety oversight for roofing operations
- Monitor subcontractor activities and compliance with project safety requirements
- Conduct routine site inspections, audits, observations, and hazard assessments
- Monitor fall protection systems, roofing access, and elevated work activities
- Review Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), permits, and pre-task plans
- Identify unsafe conditions and coordinate corrective actions
- Provide field coaching and reinforce safe work practices
- Coordinate with project management, supervision, and subcontractors
- Support incident investigations and corrective action implementation
- Maintain required safety documentation and inspection records
- Promote a proactive safety culture throughout the project
- Serve as the GC's safety presence in the field
