## Low Voltage Estimator (Estimator to Lead Estimator)##### Overview Scope and price low-voltage, structured cabling, security, and access control projects, from first walkthrough to final proposal. You are the bridge between what customers need and what we build. We’re looking for an estimator who can walk a set of drawings and see the whole job before anyone picks up a tool.

You’ll turn what you see into a number the field can actually build to and the customer can actually say yes to. This role sits at the center of the business: you’re the reason a bid comes in tight enough to win and accurate enough to make money. This is an evergreen posting covering multiple experience levels, from Estimator up through Lead Estimator.

* Estimating experience in low-voltage, structured cabling, security, or related electrical and construction scopes (2+ years for Estimator; 5+ years plus bid-process ownership for Lead)
* Comfortable reading blueprints, RFPs, ITBs, and specs, and pulling accurate device and cable counts off drawings
* Working knowledge of structured cabling, access control, and CCTV / security camera categories
* Proficiency with estimating and takeoff tools (Bluebeam, Plan Swift, or similar) and Microsoft Office
* Strong written communication; your proposals represent the company
* Lead Estimator: experience owning the bid process end to end and mentoring other estimators##### Responsible for
* Review drawings, RFPs, and site walk notes to scope material and labor
* Build accurate, competitive proposals and quotes for commercial clients, GCs, and partners
* Coordinate with the field and PMs to sanity-check pricing against what’s actually buildable
* Track and follow up on outstanding bids
* Maintain accurate records of quotes, win/loss reasons, and pricing history
* Lead Estimator: own the bid calendar, review other estimators’ takeoffs, and represent CCI in pre-bid meetings##### Additional Requirements
** Required*
* * 2+ years of estimating experience in low-voltage, electrical, or related construction trades
* Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
* Valid driver’s license
** Preferred*
* * Structured cabling, security, or access control estimating background
* Familiarity with BICSI standards
* Estimating / CRM software experience (Bluebeam, Plan Swift, Hub Spot)
* Exposure to VMS (video management software) or Computer Vision / edge hardware##### Job Nature Full Time#####
