Job Description General Superintendent – Data Centers Overview The General Superintendent oversees field operations for large-scale data center and industrial construction projects.

General Superintendent – Data Centers

Key Responsibilities & Duties Oversee all on-site construction activities from mobilization through project completion.

Lead and mentor Superintendents, Assistant Superintendents, and subcontractor field teams.

Develop and maintain site logistics plans, schedules, and manpower projections.

Coordinate daily field operations across multiple trades to ensure efficiency.

Partner with project stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain milestones.

Monitor construction quality and ensure compliance with specifications and codes.

Conduct site walks, lead coordination meetings, and communicate progress to leadership.

Manage site logistics, including access, utilities, laydown areas, and equipment operations.

Ensure proper documentation of daily reports, safety observations, and quality inspections.

Job Requirements Bachelor of Science (BS) in a relevant field.
15+ years of experience in commercial, industrial, or large-scale construction.

Proven leadership experience as a General Superintendent or Senior Superintendent.

Strong understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, and site logistics.

Experience coordinating MEP systems and complex installations.

Proficiency with construction scheduling and project management software.

OSHA 30 certification preferred.

Ability to travel to project sites as required.

Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
