Fan Engagement Intern

FAN ENGAGEMENT

The Fan Engagement Intern will work closely with the Manager of Fan Engagement to help deliver world class experience for fans from all around the globe. The intern will be involved in various projects that will allow you to explore your creativity and strengthen your ability to develop inspiring and emotion evoking experiences for others.

TASKS & DUTIES

• Delivering engaging programs such as Stories of Rock trivia
• Creating playlists for holidays, concerts, and foster programs
• Helping on the exhibits floor, providing fan facing customer service
• Customer service related activities such as email correspondence and replying to inquiries
• Assisting other departments with community events, live shows, or special programs

Possible projects

• Updating or creating Rock Hall guest experience & engagement activities such as: "This Day in History" way finding project, updating our inductee selection role play, "Voice Your Choice", or interactive educational/informative programs such as our "Stories of Rock".

Requirements & Qualifications

• Real enthusiasm for working with people
• Passionate about music and possess the ability to use music as a connector
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Flexible and able to adjust to changing demands
• Attention to detail and good organizational & planning skills
• Must be proficient in computer skills including Office 365
• Available to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed

Preferred Experience s

• Customer service in a music venue or tourist destination

ELIGIBILITY

Intern applicants must be currently enrolled in a college (preferably entering senior year after summer 2026) or graduate school program.

Details

• Rock Hall internships are paid positions, and for enrichment purposes must be willing to work within other departments.
• The internship is onsite, starting May 20th and ending July 31st. Exact end dates could be later with some internships.
• Estimated weekly hours for this internship: 24 - 30 hours

The Rock Hall is a world-renowned institution and a pillar in the museum and music industries. The internships we host are no different. Not only will all interns get an in depth, project-based learning and working experience, but all interns will also participate in an organization wide internship experience. Weekly career development sessions and or panels with Rock Hall staff will ensure you are getting the most out of your time at the Rock Hall and completing the summer with new tools and resources when it comes to beginning your career.

All intern positions will get a chance to learn firsthand how we create the world class guest experience for our visitors from around the globe. Lastly, all our interns will get to experience summer at the Rock Hall and Cleveland, getting to know the city that helped build Rock & Roll, and all of the events and excitement we curate each summer.
