Ohio Dental Outreach, a school-based mobile dental practice, is seeking a Dental Assistant in Cleveland OH and surrounding areas to help provide dental care to underserved children at their school. Our in-school dental program offers a workday that ends with the school day, with no nights or weekends, providing a diverse and different working environment for those who want to make a difference in the dental field.

• Dental assisting services during mobile dental clinics
• Digital X-ray imaging
• Patient records charting
• Equipment setup, breakdown, and sterilization assistance
• Travel daily to and from school sites

• X-Ray Certification
• CPR/BLS certification
• Working experience as a Dental Assistant
• Digital X-ray imaging experience
• Valid driver license, reliable transportation and willingness to travel to schools across counties
• Works well with children
• Team player and able to work on a small team
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (for setting up equipment)

• Evenings, weekends and summers off
• School day schedule (about 6 – 7 hours; typically 8:00 A.M. – 3:00 P.M.)
• Benefit package (health, dental, vision)
• Flexible scheduling and unique work experience
• Full and part-time positions
• $17-$24 per hour
• State-of-the-art portable dental equipment and digital radiography
