Shift: Tuesday-Friday 6:45-5:15

Supports the dentist(s) in the delivery of high‑value dental care to children through adult patient populations. Assists in providing a system that delivers services efficiently, effectively, and safely with care and compassion. • High school graduate or passage of a high‑school equivalency exam.
• Graduate of a Dental Assisting program.
• 1 year of experience as a Dental Assistant.
• Graduate of a foreign accredited dental or hygiene school.
• Must possess a current Ohio Dental Assistant Radiographer license or obtain one within 90 days of hire.
• Must possess a current BLS certificate through the American Heart Association or obtain one within 90 days of hire.
• Willing to work according to the job assigned and overtime requirements as needed (days, evenings, weekends, and in‑home care service/outpatient dental clinics in the Metro Health System).
• Access to reliable transportation to travel to all satellite locations or home care facilities as needed.
• Preferred: 1 year of experience as a Dental Assistant.

May sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently during the day. May need to sit or stand for extended periods. Vision and hearing in normal range with or without correction. Requires some exposure to communicable diseases or body fluids and chemicals.
