Project Focus: Downtown, waterfront, and mixed-use civic development projects (nationwide)

Skills and

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (required);
    Master’s in Urban Design or Landscape Architecture preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in urban planning/design
  • 3+ years in project leadership and stakeholder engagement
  • Professional license (Architecture or Landscape Architecture) in Ohio preferred
  • Strong written, visual, and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in managing interdisciplinary teams and public-private partnerships
  • Experience in civic-focused urban development, equity-driven design, and strategic planning
  • Familiarity with business development activities (proposals, client interface)
  • Experience: Minimum 6 years (BA/BS) or equivalent, with 10 years preferred in relevant urban development roles

    Salary: $105,000 – $130,000 annually (based on location and qualifications)

    Job Description

    AECOM is seeking an experienced Urban Design Project Manager to lead transformative planning and infrastructure projects across urban downtowns, waterfronts, and culturally vibrant districts.
