The Department of Psychiatry at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center seeks a Physician to uphold our high standards of patient care. Academic appointment levels (Clinical Instructor, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or full Professor) will be offered based on experience.

Compensationand Qualifications
Academic rank and salary will reflect qualifications and primary board certification. Compensation is competitive.
Role OverviewProvides and manages direct medical evaluation, diagnosis, procedures, and patient care within a specific practice area or patient population.
Responsibilities- Deliver direct patient care, including examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatments.
- Prescribe medications and treatment regimens appropriate to medical conditions.
- Refer patients to specialists or other care components as needed.
- Train and supervise medical students and residents in specialty activities and procedures.
- Manage daily operations of medical programs, patient care units, or research functions if applicable.
- Coordinate patient care activities with nursing and support staff.
- Follow departmental policies, procedures, quality improvement, safety, environmental, and infection control standards.
- Participate in health promotion, education, and prevention programs as appropriate.
- Maintain department productivity thresholds.
- Maintain faculty status with CWRU SOM if applicable.
- Adhere to physician obligations outlined in the Physician Policy Manual.
- Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Comply with all policies and standards.
- Follow department documentation during orientation.
- Maintain PHI securely, adhering to training, UH Code of Conduct, and policies.
