Overview
The Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition at University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital (UH Rainbow) is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Pediatric Gastroenterologist to join a collaborative team in Cleveland, Ohio. The program is nationally recognized and consistently ranked among top pediatric GI programs. We welcome candidates with broad clinical interests, including hepatology, nutrition, and gastrointestinal motility, and are seeking individuals interested in clinical care, education, and scholarly activity as Clinician-Educators and/or Clinician-Scientists.
Opportunities include mentorship from Division Chief and senior faculty, with clear pathways for advancement and professional fulfillment. The division highlights include a multidisciplinary team and an established endoscopy unit with modern capabilities.
Primary Responsibilities- Provide inpatient and outpatient care
- Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows
- Engage in clinical research, quality improvement, and academic activities aligned with interests

- MD, DO, or MD/PhD
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pediatric Gastroenterology
- Active Ohio medical license or eligible for licensure
- Commitment to excellence in patient care, education, and academic collaboration
UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital is a 304-bed pediatric hospital and academic medical center with experts in 20 medical divisions and 10 surgical specialties. The hospital provides advanced pediatric care, including cancer, cellular and immune therapies, heart and surgical care, and is the Northeast Ohio’s only single-site provider of advanced maternal-fetal medicine and neonatology services. It is a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center and affiliated with Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.
