The Heart Vascular and Thoracic Institute at Cleveland Clinic is seeking a Preventive Cardiologist (MD) with expertise/experience in diagnosis and treatment of cardiac patients with lipid disorders, HTN, metabolic syndrome or chronic kidney disease. Experienced (preferred) or fellowship trained in preventive cardiology welcomed.
Patients come from all over the United States and the world for the advanced diagnosis and innovative treatments offered by the department. Our expert cardiologists collaborate with other Cardiology specialists and cardiovascular surgeons to manage outpatient and inpatient patients with complex multisystem disease in a comprehensive and highly effective manner.
This position will provide expertise in Preventive Cardiology. Clinical responsibilities will include working within a multispecialty outpatient clinic based in Preventive Cardiology and serving as the attending on hospital service as scheduled. There is ample opportunity for research as well as providing education of fellows and residents. A faculty appointment at a rank commensurate with experience is available at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University.

Salary range: $428,000 - $639,000
The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires and is for a 100%, full-time employment (FTE). A successful candidate’s actual compensation will be consistent with fair market value and determined after taking various factors into consideration such as the candidate’s work history, experience, skill set, % of FTE and board certification. This is not inclusive of the value of Cleveland Clinic’s benefits package, which includes among other benefits, healthcare/dental/vision, and retirement.
