This collaborative group is actively seeking neurologists specializing in Cognitive Neurology, MS/Neuroimmunology, Neuro-Ophthalmology, Headache, and General Neurology to join its highly regarded team in Western Michigan.

• 304 Beds
• Level II trauma center
• Comprehensive Stroke Center
• Level IV Epilepsy center with sEEG ( stereotaxic EEG) and cEEG ( continuous EEG)
• 6 bed EMU
• Up to 34 beds on our Neuro ICU floor, 32 bed Med surg/trauma/ ICU
• Infusion Center
• Joint Commission-accredited teaching hospital

Cognitive Opportunity Highlights

• Fellowship training preferred but not required
• Join a collaborative team of 75+ Physicians and Advanced Practice Professionals
• Lead the expansion of the Memory & Alzheimer’s Disease Program towards certification of an Alzheimer’s Disease Center of Excellence
• Opportunity to actively participate in clinical trials and cutting-edge research on-site
• Research available through partnership with the Van Andel Research Institute (a post-doctoral biomedical research and education facility) and Michigan State University
• Oversee neurotherapeutic treatments to advance patient care
• Call 5-6 times/year, 1:10, starts Friday night at 5pm until Monday morning 7am – no stroke call
• Neurology residency program on site, 4 residents per year
• Teaching interests welcomed
• 11-12 patient per day (60min new/30min follow-up)
• H1B support available

• Enjoy majority subspecialty volume, treating the full breadth of common and complex headaches with botox, nerve block injections and collaborate with physical therapy and neurosurgery for facial pain
• On-site infusion suite
• Multi-disciplinary team in place – neurologists, neurosurgeons, neuropsychologists, registered nurses, clinical nurse practitioners, neuro-radiologists, neuro-rehabilitation specialists and social workers
