The Division of Hematology/Oncology in the Department of Medicine at the Metro Health System, in collaboration with Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, is seeking full-time, academic faculty members at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level, focusing on solid tumor oncology. Preference will be given to candidates interested in breast, lung, or gastrointestinal cancers.
Metro Health is a public hospital serving underserved and underrepresented populations in Cleveland. The Cancer Center is affiliated with the Case Comprehensive Cancer Center and promotes excellent collaboration among various cancer subspecialties and referring networks. Candidates should be committed to team-oriented research, especially addressing disparities in cancer care.
Applicants should possess excellent clinical skills, a strong interest in teaching, research, and multidisciplinary patient care. Candidates must hold an MD or DO degree, have completed a fellowship in adult hematology and/or oncology, and be board certified or board eligible in hematology and/or oncology.
The Division of Hematology/Oncology has a growing faculty with practices across multiple locations in the Cleveland area. Responsibilities include inpatient and outpatient consultations, longitudinal patient care, teaching and mentoring residents, fellows, and medical students. Active participation in clinical trials is highly encouraged. The successful candidate will hold an academic appointment at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. Final rank and salary will depend on qualifications and experience.
