Middle School Math Teacher (Grades 5–8) — 1099 Contractor
Rate: $50 — $55/hr

What You’ll DoDesign and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate math lessons tailored to student needs.

Build a classroom culture centered on high expectations, respect, and college readiness .Collaborate with colleagues and leadership to analyze student data and refine instruction.

Share best practices and continuously grow as part of a supportive teaching community.

Maintain strong communication with families through consistent updates and conferences.

Create a safe, organized, and inspiring classroom environment.

Foster daily, positive relationships that motivate and empower students.

What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree required.
2+ years of teaching experience preferred, particularly in urban school settings.

Valid Ohio teaching license , Substitute License, or active pursuit of licensure.

Deep passion for urban education and a strong alignment with our mission.

Solid expertise in your content area and grade level.

Data-driven mindset and strong instructional skills.

Professionalism, openness to feedback, and a growth-oriented attitude .Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration abilities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Sheets .Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and contribute positively to a team.
