The School of Education and Counseling in the Levin College of Public Affairs and Education invites applications for part-time single term instructors to teach courses in our graduate programs.
This posting is for establishing a pool of candidates from which to select part-time instructors. Throughout the academic year, individuals may be contacted by the department to discuss available positions on a semester-by-semester basis.
Service as a part-time single term instructor does not accrue tenure rights. Instructors serve based on each contract and are engaged at the university's convenience.
A part-time single term instructor shall not have teaching responsibilities exceeding nine credit hours per semester, with no additional responsibilities akin to full-time faculty.
Minimum Qualifications- Master’s degree related to the content area, such as Clinical Mental Health Counseling, School Counseling, Counseling Psychology, Adult Education, Education Research, or a related field. In rare cases, professional experience may substitute for a master’s degree if justified on academic grounds.
