Join the team as a 9‑12th Grade Social Studies Teacher at ACCEL Schools located at Northeast Ohio College Preparatory School – Upper Campus in Cleveland, OH.

As an educator, you will bring curriculum to life, create a positive learning environment, and prioritize student learning and social‑emotional development.

• Prepare and deliver lesson plans and modify them as needed.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress.
• Utilize research‑based best practices in daily planning and instruction.
• Manage student behavior in the classroom.
• Create a positive classroom environment for learners.
• Utilize school‑approved curricula that reflect diverse backgrounds.
• Implement school‑wide culture expectations and norms.
• Communicate and meet with families regarding academic and social‑emotional growth.
• Incorporate technology skills into daily practice.
• Participate in the planning and implementation of non‑instructional activities as needed.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Active Ohio teaching license in Social Studies.
• Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field.
• High comfort working in a growth‑focused coaching environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to manage confidential information.
• Ability to supervise students of various ages.
• Ability to pass federal and state background checks.
• Experience working within an urban environment.

Salary range: $37,000 – $51,600.
