About the OpportunityAs an educator, you will bring curriculum to life, create a positive learning environment, and prioritize student learning and social‑emotional development.
Responsibilities- Prepare and deliver lesson plans and modify them as needed.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress.
- Utilize research‑based best practices in daily planning and instruction.
- Manage student behavior in the classroom.
- Create a positive classroom environment for learners.
- Utilize school‑approved curricula that reflect diverse backgrounds.
- Implement school‑wide culture expectations and norms.
- Communicate and meet with families regarding academic and social‑emotional growth.
- Incorporate technology skills into daily practice.
- Participate in the planning and implementation of non‑instructional activities as needed.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Active Ohio teaching license in Social Studies.
- Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field.
- High comfort working in a growth‑focused coaching environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to manage confidential information.
- Ability to supervise students of various ages.
- Ability to pass federal and state background checks.
- Experience working within an urban environment.
Salary range: $37,000 – $51,600.
