As a Bright Bee school paraprofessional, you’ll support students in local schools—supporting their behavioral and socio-emotional goals as directed by each school site.
The more sites and assignment types you are open to working, the more your earning potential is
. Bright Bee recruits candidates (that's you!) to support local schools and nonprofits. You will use our Bright Bee app to claim assignments at schools/non-profits in your area and get paid a week later. Our goal is simple: help schools succeed and give workers the tools they need to grow in their careers.

• Work 2–5 days per week
• School day shifts (7am-4pm)
• Pick up assignments that match your schedule

A hive is a geographical region of multiple school districts and sites that you (as a Bee) will be able to claim assignments at. These assignments could be as short as a single day or as long as multiple week/months. You should be willing/able to commute to various school sites in West Cleveland area to be considered.

We’re recruiting paraprofessionals for North Ridgeville Schools

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Comfort with paying for your background check and permit - as a 1099 independent contractor, you'll be eligible for bonus milestones to help cover these costs as you start taking assignments

• You enjoy supporting behavioral growth for kids or teens
• You’re patient, reliable, and positive
• You’re looking for flexible and/or consistent work (several of our single day assignments convert to long-term opportunities)

To keep students safe, as an independent contractor, you’ll need to:

• Undergo a background check
• secure & pay your educational aide permit
• Follow safety and reporting guidelines

PLEASE NOTE:

Costs associated with the clearance process are the sole responsibility of the candidate, as this engagement is for an independent contractor role rather than a traditional employment position. Requirements vary by state but may include the cost of a background check, obtaining a copy of any college transcript you have, and the cost of completing Mandated Reporter training.
