Position Summary

We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to support the design, development, and delivery of custom Lincoln Electric Automation equipment. This role is ideal for a motivated graduate or early‑career professional who thrives in a hands‑on, collaborative environment and is eager to grow within a world‑class engineering team.

Position Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks to meet aggressive project schedules and budgets (labor hours and material costs).
  • Create small‑scale mechanical layouts, 3D models, and detailed 2D manufacturing drawings using Solid Works.
  • Verify that every design fully complies with the customer purchase order, quoted scope, and internal specifications.
  • Update design packages to reflect “as‑built” configurations for critical components and ensure accurate records for future service and spares.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of digital service manuals and ISO‑compliant documentation.
  • Occasionally assist with equipment installation, commissioning, or troubleshooting at customer sites (domestic travel
