HDR is currently seeking a Water/Wastewater Designer to join our Water Business Group. The successful candidate will work as part of a team on studies and detailed design and construction services for water/wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and collection/distribution systems.

• Create detailed designs of water/wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and collection/distribution systems.
• Prepare drawings, write specifications, analysis, and study-level reports for water and wastewater systems; determine appropriate design methods, equipment sizing and selection, and cost estimation.
• Assist the project manager throughout the design and construction phases of projects.
• Perform other duties as needed.

• M.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• Experience in evaluating, designing, and developing drawings and specifications for water/wastewater treatment facilities and pump station projects.
• Experience with Microsoft Project or Primavera project management software.
• Revit, Micro Station, and/or AutoCAD experience.
• Preference given to local candidates.
• EIT or ability to obtain within 12 months. Candidates hired without an EIT will hold the title of "Water/Wastewater Designer" and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Interest or experience in designing water/wastewater treatment facilities.
• AutoCAD and/or Micro Station experience.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
