• Lead the BIM designers in preparation of engineering drawings

• Sign and seal telecommunications design packages
• Mentor other team members
• Work with lead engineer and/or department manager to identify processes improving departmental efficiency

• Electrical Engineering or Communication Engineering bachelor’s degree from an ABET accredited college
• Minimum 8 years’ experience actively designing or leading designs for Telecommunications structured cabling systems
• Thorough knowledge of ANSI/TIA and BICSI standards
• Thorough knowledge of NFPA 70 and its application to telecommunications structured cabling systems
• Proficiency with Bluebeam
• Self‑motivation to coordinate with other disciplines, project managers, and clients
• Excellent project management skills
• Familiarity with responding to RFPs
• Experience in providing quality assurance and checking of telecommunications systems designed by others
• Experience with start‑up and commissioning of telecommunications systems
• Experience creating a budget for a project
• Experience creating and maintaining a project schedule
• Experience identifying and mitigating company risk
• PE license required; ability to obtain multiple PE licenses

• 4 years Telecommunications design experience in Data Centers
• Experience working with other low‑voltage systems (Security, Audio/Visual, Wireless)
• Working knowledge of Revit and Navisworks design software platforms
• Knowledge of telecom infrastructure for controls systems and security systems
• Proficiency with CSI or AIA specification writing procedures
• Credential as an RCDD
