Senior Quality Manager – Aerospace Manufacturing | Cleveland, OH

AT3 Staffing is proud to partner with an industry-leading aerospace manufacturer in the search for a Senior Quality Manager to join their team in Cleveland, OH
. This company designs and manufactures precision pumps and related components for both commercial and military aircraft
.

This role provides overall leadership for the site’s Quality Management System (QMS), customer satisfaction, and regulatory compliance throughout the entire product lifecycle — from development through production, supply chain, and aftermarket support.

The ideal candidate is a proven quality leader with exceptional interpersonal skills, a strong sense of urgency, and a track record of driving measurable improvements across safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

• Lead the deployment and continuous improvement of the Quality Strategy based on AS9100 and AS9145 (Advanced Product Quality Planning), establishing a culture of zero defects.
• Drive continuous improvement and achieve top-tier customer performance ratings through effective implementation of QMS and internal business systems.
• Implement proactive accountability processes that promote prevention and control, ensuring strong daily performance and problem-solving around key KPIs.
• Develop and manage an organizational structure that supports strategic business objectives, including budget and resource planning for quality initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with AS9100
  , customer-specific, and regulatory requirements through robust internal audits, assessments, and corrective action systems.
• Oversee measurement and monitoring systems to improve site-level business and quality performance metrics.
• Lead Advanced Quality Planning (AQP) activities using AS9145 within the Product Development Process to ensure zero-defect transitions into production.
• Manage supplier quality performance across the lifecycle, ensuring purchased materials meet specifications and applicable regulations (experience with castings preferred).

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or related field) from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 10 years of quality experience within Aerospace & Defense;
  Automotive experience is a plus.
• Working knowledge of FAA Title 14 CFR 21 (FSDO) and Repair Station Title 14 CFR 145 (MIDO) requirements.
• Expert-level skills in Six Sigma
  , AS9145 APQP
  , DFMEA
  , PFMEA
  , MSA
  , process control plans, and capability analysis.
• Hands‑on experience with AS9100D QMS and customer‑specific standards for Pratt & Whitney, Rolls‑Royce, GE, Safran, and CFM
  .
• Proven leadership and team development skills, with the ability to integrate quality principles into daily production and long‑term strategic initiatives.
• Strong critical thinking and complex problem‑solving abilities with a bias for action and results.
• This position requires access to technical data and/or hardware controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Therefore, all applicants must be U.S. persons (citizen or lawful permanent resident).

• NADCAP experience (special processes such as Heat Treating, NDT, or EDM).
• FAA DMIR certification or ARD 8130-3 Conformity authorization.
• Experience with EASA Mag‑5 8130‑3 Repair and Overhaul and CAAC CCAR‑145 training.

• Experience with AS13100 QMS for Aero Engine Design and Production.
• ASQ Certified Quality Manager or Certified Quality Engineer
