Base pay range$80,000.00/yr - $/yr
Day to DayAs a Bridge Design Engineer, you will contribute to the design and structural analysis of highway bridges and related structures across Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Kentucky. Your day will include performing calculations, preparing detailed structural drawings using AutoCAD Civil3D and Micro Station Open Roads, and assisting with cost estimates and technical reports. You’ll support bridge inspections by applying fundamental engineering principles to evaluate conditions and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Field work will be part of your responsibilities, where you’ll verify design accuracy and maintain project integrity.
- 3+ years of experience with structural bridge engineering
- Experience with Micro Station (Open Roads) or AutoCAD (Civil3D)
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite - Excel, Word
- PE (professional engineer license) or EI (Engineering Intern)
- Mid-Senior level
