Product Applications Engineering Co-op (Systems) – Fall 2026
Tektronix, an operating company under Ralliant, is hosting a Product Applications Engineering Co-op (Systems) – Fall 2026 for motivated students pursuing careers in engineering. As a Product Applications Engineering Co-op, you will work hand in hand with design, marketing, customer support, and field teams to ensure products meet customer needs while gaining valuable hands‑on experience with both hardware and software.
This opportunity provides exposure to both the technical and customer-facing aspects of engineering, making it ideal for students eager to broaden their skills in real-world product development.
Responsibilities- Work hand in hand with design teams to validate new hardware and software using real customer devices.
- Partner with marketing teams to create technical documentation (application notes, white papers, blog posts, manuals, demo videos) and identify new customer use cases.
- Collaborate with customer support teams to investigate bugs, report findings to engineering, assist with automation/setup, and develop custom solutions for difficult problems.
- Support field teams by addressing sales needs, training on new applications, and delivering customer-focused solutions.
- Develop technical marketing materials and contribute to product demonstrations.
- Support customers and sales by solving measurement challenges, investigating product defects, and creating automation code.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Programming experience in Python and C (other languages a plus).
- Basic knowledge of hardware circuit design.
- Strong technical writing and communication skills.
- Ability to adapt, multitask, and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
- Open to candidates of all citizenship statuses.
- Hands‑on experience at the Tektronix Solon, OH factory with a diverse engineering team.
- Exposure to DC Precision Instrumentation and Systems projects.
- Development of both technical skills (programming, circuit design, testing) and professional skills (collaboration, communication, documentation).
- Mentorship and experience bridging classroom learning with real-world engineering challenges.
The hourly salary range for this position in local currency is $20–40.
